URBAN ADAM
The concept of this pilot film is 'City Adam.' Turning to Genesis 2, the Lord created Adam, the first man, and built him a garden in Eden in the East, but warned him that the tree's fruit of the knowledge of good and evil must not be eaten. However, Adam ate the forbidden fruit, so man began to have sin and die.
We wanted to take this image of Eden and bring it into the contemporary cityscape. There is a suitable area near the Oil Can Art Centre, where the circle and the square collide, both relic and futuristic.
As the costumes and make-up tend to be monochromatic, along with the large lawn at the back of the building and the woods along the river, the different layers of green fit in well with the original setting of a sense of innocence and the ability to highlight the dancers' limbs, entwining, pulling and confronting.
From picking the apple and accepting the temptation of good and evil, we make a turn in sound, entering into a game with the outside world and ourselves on different levels, a process that is mixed with pleasure and pain. Finally, biting the apple and fully accepting ourselves, a clean and specific ending, even though a thousand times have torn, we still make the same choice. This may be destiny, but it is also the first heart and courage after the washing.
